Lost power, malfunctioning devices, bizarre electrical behavior, smells of burning plastic, burning hot devices, flickering lights, nuisance tripping - there are many things that can go wrong with the electrical wiring inside your home. Finding the root cause is an art, and you want a trained electrician for the more confounding issues you may find in your home.
These issues, if left unresolved can spiral into far worse ones, including fires and electrocutions.
Call me to help with your problems. A service call buys you a clear diagnosis and includes repair labor if it is simple (bad splice, faulty outlet, bad breaker, etc). Any additional repairs required will always be clearly assessed and communicated, along with pricing, when needed and prior to starting work.
I do not engage in material markups or hidden fees either, unlike many of my competitors. I do not push unnecessary upgrades on my customers either as a means of upselling.
My goal is to solve your electrical problem completely, safely, and at the lowest reasonable cost. I know that “open-ended” repairs can be stressful, so I aim to make every visit clear, predictable, and fair. I’ll always explain what I’m doing and what your options are before continuing.
Each troubleshooting visit starts with a quoted price for the first hour of work.
If the repair takes more than one hour:
If I discover the issue is larger than expected, I’ll stop and go over a fixed-price quote for the remaining work before proceeding.
If I need to pick up a part or material from a supplier:
Electrical problems can range from simple loose wires to more complex issues hidden behind walls or involving utility equipment outside your home.
If I find that the problem is beyond standard troubleshooting or requires major additional work, I’ll explain exactly what’s going on and what your options are before any further charges occur.
My service does not include:
If access holes are needed for wiring, those repairs are the homeowner’s responsibility.
All work is performed to current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards. My goal is to leave you with a home that’s safe, functional, and free of electrical worries — with pricing that’s always transparent and fair.
